As we launch the blog, many readers are sending comments regarding how to structure it, what topics to add and what topics I’ve selected that they feel I should avoid. One reader went so far as to suggest I should give up on doing a blog completely. That exchange is fun. I was particularly struck by one reader who advised me to stay away from business ethics altogether.  We're paying attention to all comments.

I think it's time for you to retire and enjoy life and let young PR people take over the reins. Who cares about a PR blog ----- "stop and smell the roses."

Thank you for that but if you know me, I just can’t get out there and play golf.

Also, the stuff I am seeing (and I know what I am looking at) and the willingness to share it with others is not a young person’s game.

I have a personal bias against blogs because I just can’t spare the time during the work day to slog through all the text. In the old days at other places of employment, I would have. But in today’s world, it’s very difficult to find the time. I know it’s because of my work habits/philosophy. Maybe others can do it. I am always juggling too many projects to have time to read a blog.

I can see in this instance how your blog would be extremely valuable though to a person seeking new employment.

The blog is a good idea to keep information flowing. The "push technology" of an email alert is still necessary from my perspective as there are many distractions out there. This email caused me to take a look, review a couple of articles, and take a look at your current job listings.  Seems to be successful.
