Thank you for this blog. You know I am finding more and more companies don't even know what good PR is anymore. They make something up in last minute, try to call the editors with one day deadline, then wonder why they get no coverage. When you try to get a real PR plan, a month is too long to figure out what they have not figured out ( given that they don't even have a business plan). Crazy how they thing things just happen miraculously. Good PR is sheer rolling up your sleeves and working. Not making something up with no validation and expecting coverage when you are a less known company. Business plans, marketing plans, good old fashioned doing your homework still works.

One consideration I have for possible comment from you in the future -- what's happening in the world of benefits and how it affects work choices. I can assume the same issues are facing communicators --declining benefits in pensions, etc...
