Judith, I read your blog with GREAT interest. You're doing a wonderful service to us communications pros.

I agree with what your posters have to say. I particularly liked the one who said that organizations don't hire GREAT employees (below senior executive level), only the good ones because they can control them. SO TRUE. I'll add one more to that: They want to control the Good ones so to rationalize why they're giving only "good" (not great) pay raises ("You really could have done this project differently," or "I want to see more initiative from you" or "You're an asset to our department - we just need you to do this or that better," etc.)  I'm on to their little game. Was this taught in Shark Business Tactics 101?
