Flowers

Over the past several years, I have discovered an interest in design and flower arranging. Mostly self taught, I enjoy dramatic arrangements, bold colors and non traditional use of flowers, vases, pebbles, sand, ribbons and decorative pieces that enhance an arrangement. I am hoping to develop the skills to do Ikebana but that remains a goal, not an achievement. One of my more recent efforts was creating a wedding arrangement that integrated with the color scheme of the entire event. It was the biggest mass of flowers I have used to date. What fun!
