Search work, consulting about issues around recruiting and staffing are always challenges I enjoy. There are many other sides to what I love and this section of the site is devoted to sharing those experiences. I believe in volunteering and the arts are where I have channeled some of that energy. I am launching this section with the story of a two-year project that led to a new form of Sumi art on stone that required inventing the process, finding a stone craftsman and working with a dear friend in communications who also is discovering how talented a painter she is. This all happened in my garage, in my yard and in discussions sitting in the kitchen. The end product is a unique bathroom dedicated to artistic expression. Enjoy. Please feel free to ask questions about the flowing stone pebbles on the floor and the glass shower “wall” which is another story. Following the bathroom picture is the suspended full size terra cotta figure suspended from my ceiling.
